About Hamilton, Ontario

Have you heard of the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Hamilton Bulldogs? Who hasn't!

The City of Hamilton is a large southern Ontario city which increased in size several years ago by amalgamating six other communities into it's fold. These communities have joined the City of Hamilton and added to the city's richness and depth. These communities include Waterdown, Flamborough, Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek and Glanbrook.

There are many post secondary schools for a person to continue their education including McMaster University, Mohawk College, Redeemer College and Liasion College for those looking to improve on their culinary skills.

When you come to Hamilton you will need to visit the park on the waterfront at the foot of Bay Street where you can roller-blade, skate-board or go for a leisurely stroll along the waters edge. The park is also home to car shows which happen several times a year and are a favourite for the children and parents alike.

Client Testimonial

I have had the privilege to work Carol both as a seller and a buyer and can honestly say she assisted me through the process every step of the way. While selling my property, she came in during the initial stages and provided expertise in order to achieve the top dollar for my house. This resulted in my property being one of the highest selling homes on the street. More importantly, while purchasing a new home, she took the time to make sure the property was right for me, my lifestyle and my budget. Carol provided me information on property value growth and made sure my purchase was not only a sound investment, but a place to put down roots. Carol connected me with financial planners and helped me achieve the best possible rates for my purchase. Thank you so much for being someone I can trust Carol!

Hamilton (2011 population 519,949) is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Conceived by George Hamilton when he purchased the Durand farm shortly after the War of 1812, Hamilton has become the centre of a densely populated and industrialized region at the west end of Lake Ontario known as the Golden Horseshoe. Hamilton is home to the shared Royal Botanical Gardens, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, the Bruce Trail, McMaster University and Mohawk College. The Canadian Football Hall of Fame can be found downtown right beside Hamilton City Hall and across town to the east, the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger-Cats play at Ivor Wynne Stadium. Partly because of its diverse environment, numerous TV and film productions have been filmed in Hamilton, regulated by the Hamilton Film and Television Office.
