As a full time Real Estate Professional, Joe has been in the industry since 1982. Starting in the Hamilton-Burlington marketplace, his service area has expanded to include Waterdown, Flamborough, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Glanbrook, Oakville and Milton.
By positioning himself, his wife Carol and his team as a one stop shop and trusted advisor, Joe, looks to help his clients make educated real estate decisions. This is done by offering timely information and creative solutions to their specific real estate needs.
Joe enjoys working with buyers of all sorts be they first time home buyers or commercial purchasers. Each client is different and it is important to meet their individual demands. First time home buyers may need information on financing, legal or inspection matters while a commercial purchaser may be looking for a Property Manager. Recognizing the need of his clients to have their properties managed, Joe started Hummingbird Homes Property Management 10 years ago “to take the worry out of owning investment properties.”
Listings present a different dynamic which Joe welcomes with great enthusiasm. It is vitally important to position a clients home as best as possible in order to maximize marketability. As with buyers, each property is different and different solutions are offered to help receive the most amount of money... in the least amount of time... with the least amount of inconvenience to his clients.
After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1981, Joe began a life long pursuit of education and recently completed his Certified Sales Program designation offered by the CPSA. It is not uncommon to find Joe attending a class, seminar or weekend conference to further enhance his real estate knowledge in order to better meet his clients needs.
Having lived and worked in the Waterdown community for more than 25 years, Joe has been involved with many of the local children’s groups including Cubs, Scouts, Baseball and especially Hockey. There were many years spent coaching his three boys as well as helping organize leagues in different communities. Joe still spends time at the local YMCA playing racquetball three to four times per week.
Carol's Real Estate Career began in 2005 when she entered the industry as an Administrative Assistant. Carol quickly learned to love the business and became a full-time Realtor two years later working with Residential Sellers and Buyers. Her strong ethic and drive, and simply going that extra mile, have allowed Carol to build long lasting relationships with her clients.
Buyers present a wonderful opportunity for Carol to help families, find the home that meets their specific needs. It could be a young couple buying their first home, a growing family looking for that additional space or the couple looking to smart-size. Having lived and worked in the area for almost 30 years, Carol is able to help her clients with these housing needs in Flamborough, Waterdown, Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Hamilton and surrounding areas. Through hard work and perseverance Carol strives to learn as much as she can about her clients, allowing her to find the home that best meets their needs.
Equally important to Carol is the need to stay on top of the ever-changing real estate industry that she may maintain her position as a Trusted Advisor to her clients. Carol stays informed by attending real estate courses, seminars and conferences on a regular basis. By staying current on industry related matters. Carol is able to offer timely advice, helping her clients make good decisions.
Carol grew up in Milton, attended Western University in London and eventually settled in the Flamborough area raising four children. Carol has first-hand experience in sourcing schools, daycares and extra-curricular activities for children including dance, hockey and the ever popular soccer. She met Joe almost 17 years ago through hockey and they have worked together for almost 11 years as partners on the recently created Malec/Moore Team with Keller Williams Edge Realty, Brokerage. When it comes time to relax, Carol can be found walking her dogs, snow shoeing and enjoying the outdoors.

Prior to starting his career in Real Estate, Wes was the Sales Manager for an Energy Company working in Southern Ontario. Wes joined the Malec/Moore Team at Keller Williams Edge Realty Brokerage in 2014 and hit the ground running.
Wes works in communities in the Golden Horseshoe area including Hamilton, Waterdown, Flamborough, Burlington, Stoney Creek, and Oakville.

In his spare time, Wes enjoys playing goalie for local men’s hockey teams and may also be found on the slopes snow boarding with his friends.
