We live in a wonderful part of Southern Ontario known as the Golden Horseshoe. We are within a half hour drive of many communities, many of which offer different types of lifestyles.
If you like country living and all it has to offer, you cannot do much better than Flamborough. There are a wide variety of property types in this area from which to choose. Throughout this community you will find several Conservation Areas, Parks and of course the Bruce Trail.
Stoney Creek offers many amenities similar to Flamborough with the added benefit of having a strong urban core featuring many shopping choices and sports facilities.
Oakville and Burlington feature many outdoor activities with Burlington's Spencer Smith Park hosting a series of summer weekend events such as Ribfest, Musicfest and Artfest. During the winter months you may enjoy the Christmas Lights of the park as well as enjoy outdoor skating with a view of Lake Ontario. Oakville boasts two natural marinas which is paradise for the avid boater.
Waterdown is a vibrant growing community home to many new young families.
Hamilton has features of all the communities noted above. Pier 4 Park at the foot of Bay Street is home to a marina and the Leander Rowing Club. This is a wonderful spot to go for a walk, rollerblading, hop on the trolley or go for a picnic. Hamilton has a strong economic base and several of the outlying communities offer country living close to all the city amenities.
